Playtime all the time Papillon Playgroup

Papillon Playgroup opened in September 2005 to provide quality pre-school care and education to the children of Royston and the surrounding area.

We are based in the Masonic Hall, Jepps Lane, in Royston town centre, with convenient access to the Priory Gardens where we conduct our outside play activities during the summer months.

We cater for children from rising 2 years to nursery or reception age.

We offer a full range of activites that cover the 7 areas of learning and development laid out in the Early Years Foundation Stage by the Department of Education.

Communication & Language

Physical Development

Personal, Social and Emotional Development

Literacy

Mathematics

Understanding the World

Expressive Arts and Design

None of these areas of learning and development can be delivered in isolation from the others. They are equally important and depend on each other to support a rounded approach to child development.

In addition to this, we strongly adhere to the EYFS principles which guide the work of early years practitioners, namely:-

A Unique Child

Positive Relationships

Enabling Environments

Learning and Development
